Installation

Base G Recommended

The Cloud G i-Size quickly clicks on and off the Base G whenever you need to take it in or out of the vehicle. The base is installed using a load leg and ISOFIX. The Base G ensures safety and stability, and it can also be used later on with the Sirona G i-Size. Look for the i-Size logo in your vehicle to check compatibility. If there is no i-Size Logo but your car has ISOFIX, please check our Car Compatibility tool.

Car Belt

If your car doesn't have ISOFIX, you can also install the infant car seat without a base, using the vehicle seat belt. Fasten the belt around the infant car seat to hold it in place. It is necessary to do this each time you take the seat in or out of the vehicle.

When it’s time to continue the journey on foot, the seat clicks onto your CYBEX stroller and reclines to a full lie-flat position, making a comfortable travel system.

An ergonomic and adjustable car seat shell lets children ride comfortably from birth up to 24 months. When your child finally outgrows the Cloud Z2 i-Size, you have the choice between continued rear-facing travel with the Sirona Z2 i-Size, or the comfort of forward-facing with our test-winning Anoris T i-Size car seat featuring an integrated airbag.

Installation with base (option 1): Look at for the i-size logo. If a vehicle seat is marked with this logo, it is suitable for use with all i-size child seats and therefore will not appear in our list of compatible vehicles. If your vehicle does not have an i-Size seat, please check the compatibility of your vehicle. If your vehicle is not displayed, please contact our customer service team.

Installation with belt (option 2): The infant car seat can be used on all vehicle seats with three-point automatic belt.

With the Cloud series CYBEX developed an ergonomic lie-flat position for use outside the car. Building on this innovation the newest Cloud Z2 i-Size can also be placed in a semi-reclined position while in the car. Greater comfort for the child, with no compromise on safety on the road.
COMFORTABLE TRAVELLING

By attaching adapters, the Cloud Z2 i-Size can be clicked onto strollers or buggies from CYBEX, gb or other select brands. Therefore the infant car seat can be used as part of a travel system outside the car, for extra comfort, convenience and mobility.
SIDE-IMPACT PROTECTION

The Cloud Z2 i-Size’s tried-and-tested Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P.) System increases protection on the road. The very first forces of a side collision are reduced by a protector extending towards the car door. Together with a flexible shell this reduces impact forces by up to 25%, channeling them away from your child.

ONE BASE - TWO SEATS

The Base Z2 is the firm foundation of the CYBEX Z2 Line Modular System, providing extra safety and stability for your car seat. A rotation mechanism allows the seat to swivel toward the car door for easier entry and exit. Lasting up to four years, the Base Z2 is compatible with both the Cloud Z2 i-Size and the next car seat: the Sirona Z2 i-Size. Both seats these seats recline in the car for extra comfort on the road.
FULL SUN PROTECTION

Not only does the generous canopy give your child UPF50+ protection from the sun, it also acts as a shield against wind, or even the hustle and bustle of the street. When not in use the canopy can be easily folded away.
GROWS WITH THE CHILD

The adjustable headrest has 12 positions for customized adjustment as your child grows. The integrated harness guide makes adjustment intuitive and quick, helping you fit the seat to your growing child within seconds.
A GOOD FIT FOR THE SMALLEST TRAVELLERS

The Cloud Z2 i-Size features a removable newborn inlay, which creates a near-flat lying position for newborns. This helps to reduce the risk of the baby’s head tipping forward while asleep, which can lead to serious breathing problems. To make sure your growing infant has enough space, the newborn inlay should be removed once the child is taller than 60 cm.
